School of Music

Established in 1972 to encourage young musical talent and raise the profile of music in the community through education, the program is now the state's largest and most successful with graduates working in leading and principal positions in many high-profile national and international arts organisations.

To enter any level of the music program students must complete tests and auditions. Those who win a place in the program undertake an intensive well-rounded course that is both practical and theoretical.
