Our maths department
The new maths department staff members at Churchlands might not have a typical teaching background but they are certainly a talented crew. Amongst our Maths teachers you can find;
- An International Pole Vaulter
- An Astrophysicist
- 6 Engineers
- A dentist
At Churchlands we believe that our teachers should be an inspiration to our students and we always bear that in mind when we select our staff.
One of our new staff members Ms Birtles mentioned that teaching is a rewarding career and that even in the toughest days the students always make it worthwhile. "I have loved the community feel of this school since day one, staff are friendly students are respectful and parents are very supportive" she said.
We are honoured to have such passionate individuals join our school.
