Journalism students visit Channel 9

Ms Chapman’s year 10 Journalism students recently visited the new Channel 9 studios in the city. Highlights of the visit for students included sitting behind the news desk and reading the news!
Students also got behind the scenes and saw first-hand how the different roles within a news team work together; including Chief of Staff, Producers, Editors, Directors and Journos.
Channel 9 sports presenter Michael Thomson "Thomo' took time out of his busy schedule to chat with students about a career in broadcasting. We thank him for his time.
