Science Teacher attends STEM X Academy

Science teacher Dr Grant Pusey recently returned from the STEM X Academy in Canberra. He was amongst 35 teachers accepted into this event (330 applied) and amongst the 20 teachers who received a full financial scholarship to attend. We would like to congratulate Grant on this great achievement!

During the week he spent in Canberra he worked with 35 high calibre Secondary teachers from around Australia to share knowledge and innovative ideas. He also met lead researchers in Science and technology and visited top facilities such as CSIRO, Questacon, NASA Deep Space Complex, Canberra Arboretum and the Botanical Gardens.

Grant will be sharing his learning from this event with his fellow colleagues in the Science Department.
